Welcome to the Stockton Meetings Incentive Program, an exciting initiative from Visit Stockton designed to enhance your meeting and conference experience in Stockton.
Program Overview:
Visit Stockton introduces the Stockton Meeting Incentive Program, a unique cash incentive initiative designed to support meeting planners who choose Stockton, California, as their preferred destination for meetings, conferences, and corporate events. This program aims to boost the local economy by encouraging more professional gatherings in our vibrant city.
Incentive Details:
Eligibility: Open to all meeting planners, both local and from outside the area.
Qualifying Events: Any new meeting, conference, or corporate event hosted in Stockton.
Incentive Structure: The incentive is calculated based on the actual number of hotel room nights booked in conjunction with the event.
Tier 1: 50 - 100 room nights: $10 per room night.
Tier 2: 101 - 250 room nights: $15 per room night.
Tier 3: 251+ room nights: $20 per room night.
Payment: The incentive payment will be made post-event*, upon verification of the actual room nights booked.

Promotional Support: Assistance with marketing and promoting the event through Visit Stockton’s channels.
Planning Assistance: Complimentary planning and logistics support from Visit Stockton’s experienced team.
Local Partnerships: Access to a network of local vendors, venues, and services.
Application Process:
Submit an Inquiry: Contact Visit Stockton to express interest and provide preliminary details of the planned event. Do not contact a venue first.
Review and Approval: Visit Stockton will review the application for eligibility and potential economic impact.
Confirmation: Upon approval, a formal agreement will be established outlining the terms and conditions.
*Note: In some cases, Visit Stockton may pay up to 40% of the estimated financial incentive when a contract is signed and the remaining 60% within 30 days after the group convenes. If room pick-up is lower than expected, the financial incentive will be prorated.
Terms and Conditions:
- The program is subject to availability and budget constraints.
- Events must be booked and take place before February 28, 2025.
- The incentive applies only to new bookings, not currently contracted events. New events are considered any event not held in Stockton since 2019.
