Friends of the Fox Present The Love Bug
Admission
Overview
The Love Bug (1968) is a classic Disney comedy about a down-on-his-luck race car driver named Jim Douglas (played by Dean Jones) who stumbles upon an unusual Volkswagen Beetle with a mind of its own. Named Herbie, the little car has a mischievous personality and a surprising amount of speed, turning Jim’s life—and his racing career—upside down. With the help of his mechanic buddy Tennessee (Buddy Hackett) and his romantic interest, Carole (Michele Lee), Jim learns that teamwork and heart can make even the most unlikely victories possible. Full of humor, hijinks, and a little bit of magic, The Love Bug is a heartwarming story about friendship, loyalty, and never underestimating a small but mighty underdog.
Doors open on Sunday, February 9, at 1 PM with entertainment in the lobby. The live Robert Morton Organ concert begins at 1:30 PM, and the film starts at 2 PM. Tickets are available online now or at the theatre when doors open.
