Stockton Earth Day Festival
Overview
Join us for the annual Stockton Earth Day Festival under the oaks of Stockton's picturesque Victory Park. It is a popular community event which helps people recognize the importance of caring for our Planet and its natural resources. This year's call to action is "Choose Planet Over Plastic."
Through diverse and engaging exhibitions, hands-on-activities, arts and entertainment, the community gets together to learns how to address environmental issues affecting us locally and nationally.
Among many attractions, there will be also vegan and vegetarian food vendors. Attendance is free.
Festival schedule (subject to change):
10:00 am - Yoga in the Park
11:00 am - Blessing of the native land
11:15 am - Cesar Chavez High School Jazz Band
12:10 pm - Franklin High Dance Team
12:30 pm - Scarlett Fyre, a Grateful Dead Music Experience
1:30 pm - Abbott Educational Grant Awards and other announcements
1:50 pm - Mariachi Chavez
2:35 pm - Blow Backs Big Band and Swing
4:00 pm - Community Drum Circle
The Eco Arts Village (10 am - 4 pm) is a collaboration of local artists and makers who demonstrate how we can relieve stress, express ourselves, and find joy through arts. All festivalgoers are invited to take part in the activities.
The Festival is bicycle-friendly and there will be a free bicycle corral where you can leave your two wheels in care of our fabulous volunteers.
