Overview
The Visual Poetry exhibition presents an opportunity for Delta College alumni artists to exhibit artwork based on the theme of poetry. The scope of poetry is broadly defined, including works based on music, literature, and famous quotes. Artists chose either to create artwork inspired by their own writing, or that of another author’s published work. To foster the process of creating artwork inspired by poetry, alumni artists and several current students were invited to participate in a book arts workshop, led by alumni artists, Kat Castaneda and Tiffany Pech, and a poetry workshop led by Delta College Professor Gabrielle Meyers.
