This poplar musical tells a romantic yet tragic story of a charming carousel barker, Billy Bigelow, and a quiet millworker, Julie Jordan. They fall in love and marry yet after losing jobs they struggle to make ends meet. To support his family, Billy turns to crime. When a robbery goes wrong, Billy dies and goes to Heaven where he is given a second chance to make things right. The show includes the well-known songs "If I Loved You," "June Is Bustin' Out All Over" and "You'll Never Walk Alone."
