The University Plaza Waterfront Hotel is a seven-story full-service hotel and condominium building and is Stockton’s premier, upscale, 3-star waterfront hotel property.

They picked up on the first ring at midnight! The staff was very helpful and considerate to the point the Security guard saw me through the cameras with my hands full and open the door for me. The Gentlemen at the check-in desk knew I had just left a terrible hotel and that I was just looking for Clean safe place to sleep. He gave me a 10% discount my troubles at the other place like wow definitely did not expect that and he even offered me late check out time. The parking is gated so your Vehicle will be safe and they have cameras in the lot. The room was amazing. Clean,Comfortable and quiet. 10/10 for me on everything. And at just a little over 100$ a night with 100$ deposit I could not ask for more.

This is the finest hotel in Stockton. It’s gated with security guards, and sits right in the water with a huge park surrounding it. It’s in downtown, so walking get’s you to everything you need. Very clean & tidy. Feels moderately fancy and very affordable. It’s all about the view and location. Restaurant has decent food and a good looking bar. Free Laundry and floor to ceiling windows!

We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is in a safe location with security and gated parking. They are dog friendly. The staff is so kind and helpful. They have a restaurant and the food was great. The room was big and comfortable we would definitely stay again when we travel through.

Very clean hotel. Ideal only for a special event or very brief business trip. Horrible for vacation or weekend stay. Management has no creativity,, and misleadingly charges a "resort fee". The pool has been closed indefinitely. No jaccuzi. There is no jaccuzzi.. A small standard gym room. The buffet is expensive but nothing more than a continental breakfast. The staff at the buffet is lazy. They could not even stock up with large bottles of waster. Had to buy bunch of small water bottles at 2.25 each because I am diabetic. Eventually ended up getting it fron a grocery store the following day. Good location for a very pleasant walk by the river. Nice view.

This hotel has the best location. I enjoyed my stay very much. Staff was very pleasant, breakfast was delicious (thank you for everything, Neyali!) If I ever come to Stockton again, I will choose this hotel for sure. It's also pet friendly, which is a huge bonus. By luck, there also was Stockton Larntern festival right next door, and it was a mesmerizing show with lots to do for both adults and kids. Definitely recommend to visit (and stay in a pleasant hotel right next door).
