Tacos Chapala
Overview
This local Mexican restaurant is one of the best in town. Tucked away in the corner of a shopping center off of Hammer Lane this spot is always busy. The el pastor tacos and tortas are delicious! You can even stand to the side of the ordering line and peak over the counter and watch as they make your meal. Load up on all the different types of salsa at the salsa bar while you wait for your food to be ready and find a seat in the restaurant to enjoy your meal.

This place has some of the best Mexican food I’ve tried in the area. The prices are about average for most Mexican restaurants or taco trucks. What I love about this place is how flavorful their asada is, along with the variety of salsas and condiments they offer. They wrap the burrito nice and tight, and the meat portion is generous. And, of course, you can’t have the full Mexican food experience without a glass of ice-cold Coca-Cola. Definitely a must-try when you’re in the area!
Food is good and pretty affordable. The “all meat burrito” is awesome! Place is clean and new. They still need to work on customer service but overall is a good experience ;)
Ordered 3 quesabirria tacos. They were very good, and their salsa bar has a lot of variety.
You literally can’t go wrong with this place! Great quality of ingredients! The variety of salsas is just an added bonus! I normally only get halfway through before getting full.
This is where my family and I choose to go when we’re craving tacos or a good plate of asada or birrdia. Chapala has never disappointed with the food they make, serving portions are great, plus they have a salsa/toppings bar that you can help yourself to. Been here many times and plan on going for years to come.
