Overview
Located in Lincoln Center, Sho Mi places a premium on details. Adorned with contemporary oil paintings and fresh orchids, this Japanese restaurant's quality also extends to their food. After ordering at the counter, patrons claim a table and are served their selection minutes later. Sushi and sashimi answer the call for sweet, mild seafood, and shumai and edamame make tasty complements. Rice and noodle bowls are also available, along with chicken, pork, salmon, and shrimp prepared a variety of ways. Established in 1995, Shomi has been the staple of Japanese food in Stockton.

This was our very first time trying this restaurant. The ordering process was different with having to order first then finding your table. With that being the only hiccup to most other restaurants we really enjoyed our food,service, and the atmosphere. The food was incredible and all the servings were absolutely delicious and big servings in comparison to other Japanese style restaurants we have tried. The service was perfect. The atmosphere was great for a family dinner or even if you and a romantic evening was occurring. If we ever are in the area again we would definitely go back!! If you are into Different types of Sake then this is place to be. I have not ever seen this many types of Sale in one place that has descriptions like this. It was fun flipping through all of these to learn about Sake!!!
The ahi tuna salad has just the right amount of dressing, and the sesame seeds on the tuna was a pleasant addition. Our waitress was friendly, and it was nice to see the restaurant fill up as lunch began.
This local Japanese restaurant never fails to impress! The staff and waitresses are always warm, welcoming, and attentive, creating a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. My go-to favorites include the Mixed Sushi, Chicken Teriyaki, and the Grilled Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box. The sushi is consistently fresh, with generous portions that showcase quality ingredients. Every meal leaves me fully satisfied, both in taste and portion. Whether you’re craving sushi or a hearty bento, this spot is a reliable choice for an enjoyable and delicious meal.
Food was great, tasted fresh, clean facility, friendly staff. They were busy and still managed to get us our food promptly.
I am IN LOVE with this place. It’s my favorite japanese restaurant. I always find myself returning every chance I get. Food is very good and tasty, atmosphere is relaxing and the service is fantastic!!
