We had a large family table of seven and most of us were out of towners. I personally have been to Nena's before but it had been so long since returning. We had our beverages served promptly and tasty chips and salsa quickly too. Some of us knew the Menudo was one of the best in Stockton but I'd no idea about the huge delicious handmade flour tortillas... my weakness. Everyone was starved and could not finish their plates. The overall opinion was everything was very delicious! The prices were a little higher than I expected but given the portions, I am not mad. The waiter was amazing and attentive and very friendly. Thank you Nena... it was great to meet you!
Nena's Mexican Cuisine was a delight! The four of us had an amazing time savoring authentic dishes like enchiladas and tacos, paired with refreshing margaritas. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made the night unforgettable. Fun fact: their recipes have been passed down for generations, and their salsa is made fresh daily. The portions were generous, and every bite was bursting with flavor. A minor downside? It got a bit noisy during peak hours, but it didn’t ruin the fun. Nena's is perfect for a night out with friends—great food, drinks, and memories!
We were on our way out of town, and looking for a close breakfast spot, we chose Nena’s. Upon entering the restaurant, you can hear upbeat music, hustling wait staff, and we were greeted and seated right away. The bright and cheery atmosphere was a nice welcome for a Sunday morning. We ordered the menudo and the egg scramble with nopales. Here is the photo of what we got for about $18 per person: hugs mug of coffee, freshly made chips and salsa, and big portions of freshly made food! Everything was delicious! Our waitresses were sweet and quick, and we will definitely go back there when we are in town again - highly recommended! Cynthia
1st time here, and I wasn't disappointed. Food and drinks were yummy. Music, too.. everyone was very nice and welcoming as soon as we walked in. We'll be back ☺️
