Overview
Originally devoted to vegetables, the Phillips’ farms evolved to include many different fruits, including fifteen different wine varietals that were shipped throughout the country during Prohibition with instructions on “how not to have the grapes turn into wine”.
Whether you’re coming by for a quick stop or you’d like to make a day of it with some friends and a rousing game or three of bocce ball, we’d love to see you! Grab some lunch at our cafe or order a wood-fired pizza and hang out next to the pond.
Note: all mermaid sightings must be reported immediately to our staff.
Tasting Fee: $10 for your pick of 5 flagship wines, includes a keepsake Michael David logo wine glass.
$15 for 4 reserve wines, pending availability. Includes a keepsake Michael David logo wine glass.
Tasting fees are non refundable, and are not applied toward the purchase of any bottles.

One of the Best Wineries in Lodi. A must go to stop if you are out wine tasting. Great location off the 5 freeway, beautiful vineyard and lots of space in the garden to hang out, take photos and talk to your friends or a date . Many good red wines and whites too. They only do tasting at the bar and not individual tables. Overall, I always have a good experience here. Michael David Winery offers a polished, commercial experience with a beautiful ambiance that makes it well worth the visit. The setting is elegant, with a welcoming atmosphere, and for the price, the experience feels very well-curated. Our tour guide, Danny, was exceptional, engaging, fun, and truly brought the tour to life with his energy and charm. Given the value and enjoyment, we’d gladly return and highly recommend it to others. It’s a wonderful spot that delivers a delightful experience without compromising quality.
Beautiful winery. First visit to the Cafe was awesome. Food was delicious with large portions. Customer service was awesome. With our large group they were very patient and ensured we were happy with our visit. The food came out within 15 min of ordering. Will most Def be back for the tasting and homemade pies.
I have experienced every wine tasting here. It has a wide selection. And the surrounding landscape is beautifully decorated.
Wonderful experience! Vanessa was the perfect host, excellent wine tasting, loved the wines as always! Outside seating on a beautiful day with a glass of wine … who could want more?
