La Yolanda
Overview
This locally owned restaurant is known for their homemade tamales. However, the soup, tacos and burritos are also delish! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are nice and big. The owners are very friendly and the customer service is always welcoming.
La Yolanda's is known for their fresh conchas, Mexican bread, tres leches cake, and sweat treats. There are so many flavors to choose from for dessert after your authentic Mexican meal. You may just want to order a variety of breads to take home for breakfast the next day, as it will be hard to pick which ones you want.

I moved to stockton 3 yrs ago and I've loved the food all over stockton but this has to be my top 3 to eat it's a must try for authentic Mexican home made style
Great Tamales! The women working there? Gorgeous, who doesn't want a beautiful plating your food. And the tamales are exceptional! Get there fast though because they sell out quickly. Open 7 days a week.
Food was delicious!!😋 I came here because I saw how people left reviews that they had the best burrito ever!! And guess what?? I feel the same!! The burrito tasted like "Home"💕 I haven't tasted a burrito this good!! Very satisfying and so juicy
This was my first time coming here and the food was amazing!!!!! Best mexican food I have tried!!!!!! Ordered some chilaquiles con salsa verde and my boyfriend ordered burritos and tacos. I never knew this place existed and this little hole in the wall of the place has become my favorite. You can see its family ran and they have a big variety of pan dulce. I highly recommend trying this place
First off… I am a gringo. So I cannot speak to the authenticity of these products. The tamales…too much masa and too little filling. And for me, they were too spicy. Truthfully, I did not enjoy them. But I know a lot of people do! They get some great reviews. So maybe it’s just me. I also tried some filled pastries, strawberry, cream filling, and pineapple. They look good. I haven’t tasted them yet. The price was right at a dollar each. This place is also a restaurant. They have seating inside where you can order and eat. The person that helped me, which I presume is the owner, was very friendly. I might return for other items besides the tamales.
