This is my gym. Please don't come here, it's crowded enough :D. No but seriously, I like it better than the others in Stockton, it's the biggest and has the largest pool. Zumba is fun!

This is my favorite gym! The equipment is always in great shape, the maintenance team and other staff are always working hard to keep the place clean and ready for us. The management team, even currently being down a person, seem to be keeping things moving along very well. The front desk folks are always welcoming when you walk in and even wish you a good day when you leave. Great team!

It’s the Staff!! I’ve been to many gyms but this one has the best staff I’ve ever had at a gym!!! They keep me motivated and coming back each week. It’s hard to just name 1 person so I’ll just say Tuesday night and That Night Crew thank you!!! Keep up the great work!!

IN-SHAPE Hammer Lane in Stockton, Ca is one of the best in-shapes I have been to in a while. The staff are very welcoming such as Sara. She greets members when they coming in and leaving. She also keeps the area clean and ensures a safe environment. Christian the maintenance guy also deserves a huge shout out for all the hard work he has been putting in with making sure the machines are working up to par. He also makes sure the outside area is kept up with regulation. Perfect team! Keep it up!

I'm in at the opening hours for both weekdays and weekends for the weight area. The equipment is well worn but works well and is maintained by staff regularly. Going at 4AM and 6AM is nice for lifting because everyone who is there at those hours is there for a purpose. No 🥦 heads, ego lifters, or brigades of dudes to force rep each other with 6 people to one bench, lmao. They have Olympic lifting pads which is pretty amazing for doing compound exercises like deads, squats, bent over rows, etc. They have plenty of full size and smaller strength towers that get the job done. I gave a 3 out of 5 because my only complaint is that I wish management and staff enforced a strict re-rack policy. It's a commercial community gym and individuals come in and move benches, dumbbells, weight plates to random areas of the gym and they just leave equipment laying everywhere, literally (to include their trash). I help when I can by moving plates to the weight trees, and replacing dumbbells but come on, In-Shape - we can do better. The staff are friendly and approachable, I see some that lift in their off hours which is always a good sign. Good gym at certain hours with plenty of amenities for serious and casual gym-goers, but poor presentation of the weight areas cause careless patrons gets a 3/5.
