June & E were very passionate to educate us & answer Q's, especially my gf's 18yr old daughter. They plan to expand to a bigger location so they will hv more visual displays. I look forward to going back.
While I am not Filipino, my wife is, and I am interested in history. The FANHS museum offers up a lot of history of the Filipino experience in the U.S. that I was not aware of. The staff adds to that with their knowledge and their own experiences as well as those of their families. I heartily recommend you visit.
Small museum with extremely enthusiastic docents involved in setting it up, who knew people depicted and featured on the sign boards. I didn't know nearly enough about the history of Filipinos in America and I am glad I went. Expect a short visit maybe 20 minutes unless you want to get chatty with the docents.
