We always have such a good experience whenever we stop by. Yesterday I was so disappointed, our waitress was not the nicest and seemed bothered by our requests. When we placed the order we asked for lemons instead of limes. When she brought out the toppings for our menudo the plate had limes. So she looked equally annoyed when we all Asked for lemons. She took a long time time bringing out the tortillas and forgot an order of flour. And again looked annoyed when we asked for them. We never got asked if we needed refills on our drinks. I had to get up and ask for to go containers which I questioned why because the menudo wasn't this best this time and our bowls clearly didn't have the extra hominy that we all asked for. It wasn't even busy enough to justify her never bringing the bill either. I was sad because every time I am in the area, I like to stop and eat here. Idk if I will next time. I did get a cheese enchilada with green sauce and I think it was better than the menudo. It was a disappointing visit.
Good food here, kind staff. Chicken and shrimp fajitas had great flavor. Also a good spot for breakfast burritos to-go.
Staff is very friendly and very efficient. The restaurant is small, but clean and there's plenty of seating, which is good because every time I've gone, they are busy- because their food is AMAZING!! Literally the best Mexican food I've ever had, from the house made chips and salsa, to their enchiladas, chile relleno and especially their chile colorado! Nothing has come close, in my opinion, to the quality and flavor of this restaurants food! I make it a point to stop whenever I'm in the area!
The best thing here are the tacos. Didn't care much for anything else. Rice, beans, meh. Flour tortillas not authentic. Enchilada sauce, way too much Chile powder for my taste. Tamale, not enough meat inside. Tacos though, were great! Parking is an adventure lol
This place was busy and I get that. We also had a party of six and I get that as well. Our primary server had assistance in bringing our meal to the table. ...She broke rule #1 of great service. Rather than knowing who ordered what, she had to ask whose meal each plate was as each plate was set on the table. Perhaps I could have overlooked this but they only had five of our six dishes. There was no acknowledgement of the missing meal which happened to be mine. The awkwardness at the table, do you all wait...I suggested that we all say grace and they begin eating. Still no meal or acknowledgement of the status of my meal. Eventually it did arrive with the secondary server who was kind enough to apologize but didn't offer an explanation. I believe both, the apology and the explanation, would have been appropriate. The gravy on the tamales was my best bite. The whole beans were slightly scored but still edible. Questionable for service when you are charging for the meal. Unfortunately this was my first experience at this location. We also could not find a parking spot and had to park across the street. This meant crossing the 99 frontage road to access the restaurant. I don't see myself adding this spot to the list of places that I will recommend or return to. But, I will also share that the rest of my party is definitely a fan of this location. Their full parking lot would speak the to same.
