Entertaining for younger kids for about an hour, then interest waned. Overall the exhibits seemed outdated compared to other offerings I've seen, but I imagine budget constraints are a factor in upgrading. Cleanliness seemed decent, which I can imagine is a big challenge. I noticed some rooms where it looked like you could have a party, though I didn't inquire about the feature.
I remember visiting this museum when I was in elementary. Now years later I brought my son to experience it and he had a great time. The Food 4 Less section was the main thing I remembered when I visited many years ago. We went early morning so there wasn’t a lot of people but I didn’t mind. I will say it was a little cold inside but besides that it was great to reminisce and see my son have a great time. Some of the displays did have buttons that didn’t work luckily a kid’s imagination works around that.
It's a good place for young kids, they will really enjoy it here for a couple of hours and also learn more about science, engineering, emergency services, nature and daily activities near us Like groceries, banking, postal service, farm, construction, vetenery, recycling, News reading and more .. however , I still see more room to improve activities. STEM and magnet areas were not functioning properly. Most of the things were broken, and they can add more activities in STEM. Also, the space center room can be more interesting and interactive for kids.
The museum is small, but has a lot for toddlers. We liked the firetruck, cop car, ambulance, helicopter, etc. The museum had an enclosure for toddlers to run and play around. There is ample parking space.
It was very enjoyable. Grandkids enjoyed it. IT COULD USE A LITTLE UPDATING TO MAKE IT A BIT MORE EXCITING IN CERTAIN AREAS. MAYBE HAVE STAFF MEMBERS JOIN IN IN areas, like have actual puppet plays at certain times, or storytelling in the big chair , and more activities for the kids to make special things with staff people participating. It really could be so much more. It's really a nice place for the kids to run around.
