Bob Hope (Fox) Theatre
This historic landmark opened in 1930 as a Fox California Theatre. Today, after a total renovation, the Bob Hope Theatre offers docent-led tours—bringing groups back in time to the heyday of this 2,000-seat theatre that once hosted the likes of Al Jolson and the Marx Brothers. One group favorite is hearing the 1928 Robert Morton organ as it plays favorites from the past. Plus, once a month the Friends of the Fox Classic Movies Series presents a classic Hollywood film onto its silver screen, allowing this crown jewel to relive its theatrical heydays.
Wat Dharmararam Cambodian Buddhist Temple
You have to see these beautiful structures in person to believe it. Each hand-carved, jeweled, and painted statue represents a part of the story of the Cambodian Buddha’s journey through life. The brightly colored beauties range from over 8 feet tall to nearly 20 feet, including a reclining Buddha that is nearly 50 feet long! Groups are welcome to visit and learn about the culture and history of the Cambodian community. Tours can be self guided or hosted by Cambodian guide.

For those looking for sporting events, Stockton houses a baseball team and a soccer team, as well as collegiate sports ranging from football, basketball, softball, water polo, and more. You may also take in a live show at Adventist Health Arena or just enjoy a movie at our Downtown Cinema.
Golden Villa Farmers' Market
Depending on what day of the week you awake in Stockton, there is a Certified Farmer’s Market going on somewhere in Stockton. Enjoy fresh Central Valley fruits and vegetables as well as freshly baked goods and beautiful flowers. On Saturdays, groups may wish to visit our world famous open-air Asian Farmer’s Market. The market has been around since 1979 and is considered one of California’s oldest and most successful. It draws more than 80 vendors and up to 9,000 customers nearly every Saturday. Get up early and search for fresh flavors, produce, herbs, fish and sweets from Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Korea, China, and India.
Haggin Museum
Continue your day with a docent-led tour of this Central Valley gem. Loved by generations of Stockton families, the Haggin Museum is a fine art and history museum that was referred to by Sunset magazine as “one of the under sung gems of California.” Its fine art collection features works by noted 19th & 20th century artists such as Albert Bierstadt, Rosa Bonheur, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, and J.C. Leyendecker, as well as many other American and European artists. Its history displays focus on this area’s past and the accomplishments of its residents -- such as Charles Weber, Stockton’s founder; Benjamin Holt, inventor of the Caterpillar track-type tractor; and Tillie Lewis, the “Tomato Queen.” You're bound to love the store replicas in the basement, the detailed Native American exhibit, and the huge tractors. Eat & Explore
Dine at one of the many restaurants on Stockton's Miracle Mile, our city's oldest pedestrian-friendly shopping and dining areas. The Miracle Mile is located on Pacific Avenue and host to many fine shops, antique stores, home stores, and great cuisine, including French, Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai, and Mexican.
Micke Grove Regional Park and Zoo
Just a short drive north, your group will enjoy a regional gem with plenty of amenities. This 258-acre oak tree park features Micke Grove Zoo, a great family-sized zoo perfect for groups. Stop and visit the serene Japanese Garden, complete with Tea Pavilion and Koi pond. Next, check out the San Joaquin Historical Museum, which has over 40,000 square feet of exhibit and work space. The collections have grown from a few hundred items from the estate of William G. and Julia Harrison Micke to over 50,000 items representative of the development of San Joaquin County agriculture and history. Lodi Wine Appellation
Stockton proximity to the Lodi wine region makes it natural addition to any Northern California group trip.
