Annual Labor Day Pow Wow
Immerse yourself in the indigenous peoples of the West with the annual Labor Day Community Pow Wow August 30 & September 1. This truly unique event at the University of the Pacific El Centro has been happening for 43 years and features traditional ground ceremonies, drum circles, handmade art, jewelry, and of course, plenty of food that will have your mouth watering. Stockton Black Family Day Weekend Event
With its genesis dating back to the struggles led by the San Joaquin Delta College Black Student Union in 1969, Stockton Black Family Day is dedicated to promoting the community principles of faith, education, health, respect, and unity. Happening at the Weber Point Events Center on Labor Day, September 2 from noon to 6 pm, this annual event will feature live music, dance, and more. Plus, there will be a wide variety of delicious food to savor and enjoy. Bring the whole family for this fun time!
Feast at the Fox
Formerly a Spring event, our annual Feast at the Fox farm to table dining experience will be going down Friday, September 6 from 6 - 9 pm at the Bob Hope (Fox) Theatre. This reimagined event is a joint collaboration between Visit Stockton and the City of Stockton featuring a sumptuous four-course dinner expertly crafted by Chef Shane Tracewell and The Kitchen @ Stonebrier. An exquisite night celebrating Stockton's local farm and food scene.
St. Basil’s Annual Greek Festival
Satisfy your taste buds at the Annual St. Basil’s Greek Festival held Sept. 6-8 at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church. Some of the festival’s highlights include Greek food, music and dancing. By the end of the night, you might find yourself saying, "OPA!" Learn more.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical
Stockton Civic Theatre presents the amazing true story of iconic, chart-topping artist Carole King through this outstanding musical! Performing August 29th thru September 22th, this musical chronicles King’s rise to fame, her personal & professional challenges, and her eventual triumph as one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters of her generation. Plan your night to experience this highly talented cast in this amazing musical.
Art & Live Music at the Haggin Museum
Known for housing so much beautiful artistry and artifacts from Stockton's history, the Haggin Museum is known for holding live musical acts the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month for visitors to enjoy. On September 5th, Amelia Romano will be performing the harp from 6:30 - 9pm. Then on September 19th, the funky Latin jazz of Charged Particles will be echoing through the halls of the iconic building.
On the artistic side, this month's 2nd Saturday for Families will feature Pointillism at the Haggin (September 14th, 1 - 2:30pm).
3rd Annual Taco The Town 5k & 10k
Wanna run a 5k or 10k to raise funds for the nonprofit The Midsole Project? How 'bout one that has free tacos and beer at the finish line? On Saturday, September 7th, you'll have the opportunity from 7:30am - noon at the Factory Institute of Fitness at 654 Grider Way. Come out for a good cause and savor tacos from some of the greatest trucks, taquizas, and taquerias—including spots like Tacos La Palmita, Maria's Taqueria, & Jump'n Tastebuds.

Friends of the Fox Classic Movie Series presents: Road to Morocco
The classics continue to grace the silver screen of "Stockton's Crown Jewel" this month with the 1942 David Butler classic Road to Morocco. Starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, and Dorothy Lamour, this comedy tells the tale of two carefree castaways competing for the love of a princess. Enjoy this comedic adventure at Bob Hope Fox Theatre screen Sunday, September 22nd. Doors open at 1 pm.
