Chitiva’s Salsa & Sports Bar
Not all sports fans need to watch the game to have a good time. Sometimes, just wearing the team’s colors is enough to get the party started. For fans who prefer to watch the game in the background, Chitiva’s Salsa & Sports Bar is the right fit.
Chitiva’s waterfront location in downtown Stockton will put game-goers in the heart of the action with plenty of distractions for fair-weather fans. Chitiva’s has a dance floor, great views of downtown Stockton, a large patio, and live music several nights a week.
When the games are over, you don’t have to go anywhere to keep the partying going.
Chitiva’s Sports Bar is located in the Historic Waterfront Warehouse at 445 W Weber Avenue, (209) 941-8605.
Valley Brewing Company
For fans who don’t mind paying a bit more for ambiance, Valley Brewing Company is a welcome upgrade.
This bar and restaurant is Stockton’s first microbrewery. They specialize in American cuisine, namely burgers and hot sandwiches.
There are more jerseys on the walls than there are TV screens, but you’re going there for the ambiance, great food and friendly staff, not for high definition.
This is also a safe bet if you have to bring the kids.
Valley Brewing Company tucked in the Miracle Mile neighborhood at 157 Adams Street, (209) 464-2739.
The Graduate Restaurant & Bar
Speaking of children, The Graduate Restaurant & Bar is another place where kiddos are completely welcome. Arcade games lining the walls and family-style seating make it easy for youngsters to get up and play while mom and dad relax and watch the game.
Lots of draft beer makes this a great spot for game-day fun; the food is affordably priced, especially for small groups sharing pizza and pitchers.
You can hit this place up Saturday or Monday for some awesome drink specials during happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Graduate Restaurant & Bar is located at 2207 Country Club Boulevard, (209) 463-1669.
Buffalo Wild Wings
We know, how commercial, but there is no place else in Stockton with as many high-definition screens dedicated to every sports team.
Normally we would advise against overexposure from some 12 billion pixels emitting from every square inch of this place, but for sports, the experience is unreal.
Catch every bead of sweat and all the games’ action surrounded by 360 degrees of TV madness. Plus, fans can experiment with more than a dozen ridiculous wing sauce flavors.
A full bar and plenty of draft beers round out the scene and ensure a good time with no hassle—it’s a franchise, after all; it’s a safe bet if you’re not sure where to go.
Buffalo Wild Wings is located at 4751 Pacific Avenue in the Target Shopping Center, (209) 478-4351.
Whatever you do, don’t stay home when you can enjoy the camaraderie of super fans at one of these Stockton sports bars.
