Mezzo
Mezzo opened in 2010 and quickly cemented their reputation as a top spot for Italian cuisine in town. A primary reason is that dining here allows you to practically tour the culinary traditions of the entire Mediterranean region in one restaurant. Their seasonally-inspired menu focuses on fresh flavors that are as authentic as they are delicious. The house-made pasta is perfection while the sauces are nothing short of sublime.

Head west on March Lane for just more than 1.5 miles to Buckley Cove Park. The park is located right on the banks of the San Joaquin River and you can watch as massive container ships makes their way to the Port of Stockton, the country's furthest inland port. It's also a great spot to watch the sun set if you'd like a few romantic moments with your other half.
Kabob & Gyro House
Kabob & Gyro House has made a name for itself in downtown Stockton and beyond by providing meals that are as delicious as they are fast. The result is this tiny restaurant has become the go-to spot for many downtown workers during their lunch hour. As such it's best to call your order in ahead of time. Every option on the menu has earned rave reviews, so it's safe to say literally anything you choose is going to make you happy.

You're in the heart of Downtown Stockton, there's a lot to see here. During the summer the Stockton Ports baseball team plays nearby. So do the Stockton Kings during basketball season. The waterfront promenade is also right here, which offers some stunningly beautiful sunsets and wonderful works of public art.
German Guys German Restaurant
German Guys German Restaurant cooks up some of the best schnitzel you'll find on this continent. You know this place is authentic as the owners moved here from Germany just a few years ago in 2019. The flavors here are as big and bold as the food is fresh. The "Champignons Rahmschnitzel" is a specialty that is as delicious as it is fun to say. The portions aren't skimpy either; but be sure to leave enough room at the end so you can enjoy a piece of German cheesecake. That's definitely something that can't be missed.

This little market has been providing the San Joaquin Valley with the freshest, most delicious fruits, vegetables, honey, olive oils and so much more since 1947. It's no exaggeration to say that this family has served many generations of people. From ingredients for the discerning home chef to pies, muffins or snacks for your road trip, you'll find something you can't live without at The Fruit Bowl.
Midtown Creperie & Cafe
If there's one thing the French know, it's food. Midtown Creperie & Cafe brings all of that knowledge to the Miracle Mile with the New Orleans take on French cuisine. Both their sweet or savory crêpes are simply divine. Throw in the beignets and other decadent eats and your taste buds are going to be thrown for a loop. Their food is so legendary that Guy Fieri himself sampled their creations for his show "Diners Drive-ins and Dives!"

You're less than a mile from the University of the Pacific. This is one of the most scenic campuses out there and has been used as a location for numerous film productions. Burn off a few calories from the crepes and take a scenic stroll through the historic buildings and beautiful gardens.
