    children's activities, and special meal functions.

  • Assistance with bid proposals and presentations.

  • Invitations and/or welcome letter and banners.

  • Coupons for special deals at local businesses.

 

Area Information - Stockton is centrally located in Northern California.

Location: Encompassing Interstate 5, State Route 99 and State Route 4, Stockton is strategically located about 80 miles east of the San Francisco Bay Area and 40 miles south of Sacramento, the capital of California . Stockton is surrounded by the rich and fertile lands of the California Central Valley and is home to the largest inland seaport in California. In and around Stockton are thousands of miles of waterways, canals, and rivers that comprise the California Delta. These waterways run directly into Downtown Stockton, home of the Stockton Ballpark, the 10,000 seat Stockton Arena, a new hotel and conference center and numerous restaurants and entertainment venues.  Look for a new marina and promenade in 2008.

Stockton enjoys mild winters and warm summers that tout a refreshingly low relative humidity.  Summer evenings are blessed with Delta breezes which cool the evenings during the Summer. The average rainfall is 13.95 inches annually, mainly in the late fall and winter.

Transportation:
     AIR - Stockton is serviced by Allegiant Airlines, and is within 85 miles of four (4) International Airports
Allegiant Airlines provides flights (5 days a week) to and from Las Vegas, NV.

Sacramento International Airport (Approximately 50 miles north of Stockton on I-5)

Oakland International Airport (Approximately 65 miles west of Stockton)

San Jose International Airport (Approximately 75 miles southwest of Stockton)

San Francisco International Airport (Approximately 80 miles west of Stockton)

Modesto City-County Airport with Skywest service to LAX and SFO (approximately 35 miles south of Stockton)

     TRAIN - AmTrak provides train service via the San Joaquin route from Sacramento to Bakersfield (via Oakland) daily. Main Station hours are 7:00 a.m. to 9:30p.m.  Click here to visit the AmTrak website for more information.

ACE (Altamont Commuter Express) also services Stockton with eight stops between Stockton and San Jose. The Stockton ACE Station also services Amtrak.

     BUS - There is a Greyhound Bus Station located on Center Street (at Hwy 4) in downtown Stockton. Please call to verify hours before making travel arrangements: 209-466-3568.
